The Role

The Principal Cyber Security Manager fills a senior leadership position where strategy meets execution. This role is designed for an adaptable leader who can comfortably discuss risk strategy with a CISO in the morning &  review technical security architecture in the afternoon.

Working closely with the company Directors, the successful candidate leads client engagements from start to finish, grows existing accounts, helps win new business and mentors the consulting team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cyber Security Delivery Leadership

  • Managing end-to-end cyber security engagements, including risk assessments, security reviews, policy development, architecture assessments and incident response planning,

  • Acting as the senior, trusted face of the firm on client sites to ensure high-quality delivery,

  • Quality-assuring all team deliverables to maintain exceptionally high professional standards,

  • Overseeing multiple concurrent projects and balancing priorities, while remaining hands-on with technical tasks when required.

2. Client Relationship & Business Development

  • Building and sustaining strong, senior-level relationships with existing and new clients,

  • Leading bids and proposals, as well as shaping the firm’s technical approaches and go-to-market strategies, 

  • Identifying new market opportunities and driving organic account growth through relationship-building rather than hard selling.

3. Operational & Team Leadership

  • Working with the leadership team to optimise day-to-day operations, implement efficient processes and manage team workload and utilisation to prevent burnout.

  • Recruiting, coaching & mentoring junior consultants by utilising live client projects as development opportunities,

  • Cultivating a supportive, transparent, and high-performing team culture.
