This is a senior, highly influential position that blends cyber leadership, client advisory delivery & commercial responsibility. The Cyber Security Lead is responsible for driving the evolution of the firm’s cyber security advisory offering, owning the overall service roadmap &  taking full accountability for sales pipeline growth/market visibility.

The successful candidate acts as the ultimate authority for cyber matters within the consultancy, working simultaneously as a senior advisor to clients and a key driver of internal capability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cyber Services & Strategy

  • Defining, refining and owning the overarching cyber security strategy, service roadmap & commercial business plan,

  • Defining and managing routes to market, including overseeing bids, responses for public and private sector frameworks,

  • Ensuring all advisory services align with national cyber security guidelines and evolving market expectations,

  • Serving as the internal senior authority on all cyber security matters and leading the firm’s progression towards formal industry resilience provider status.

2. Client Advisory & Delivery

  • Leading and executing complex cyber engagements, including comprehensive cyber maturity & security essentials assessments,

  • Developing tailored cyber security strategies, roadmaps & remediation plans for diverse client organisations,

  • Providing trusted cyber counsel to senior executives and boards, translating technical risk into pragmatic, business-focused guidance,

  • Leading executive briefings, high-level workshops and strategic assurance activities.

3. Sales, Growth & Marketing

  • Taking full accountability for expanding the cyber security sales pipeline and overall revenue,

  • Identifying, qualifying and pursuing new business opportunities across both the public & private sectors,

  • Actively networking and representing the consultancy in the wider market, including participating in public speaking engagements,

  • Collaborating with marketing teams to shape targeted campaigns and leading the cyber-specific components of competitive bids and presentations.

4. Reputation, People & Capability

  • Establishing and building the firm’s reputation as a top-tier trusted cyber security advisory partner,

  • Mentoring, coaching, and developing consultants who contribute to cyber delivery project teams,

  • Creating repeatable delivery methodologies, frameworks and high-quality templates to standardise output,

  • Supporting internal capability development and resource scaling as the service line expands,
